The restaurant called to say the food was going to be late as they were very busy (Saturday night). However, when it arrived it was piping hot and delicious! Great vegan options, I’d been hoping to order the vegan jollof but it was sold out so I’ll be getting that next time but everything we ordered was great!

Finally, a lamb stew cooked with spinach red peppers and range of spices served with roasted potatoes and plantains. I must say, it was the first time I’d ever tried plantain and I’m glad I did. It was full of flavour, it certainly opens up new ideas for my kitchen. The lamb was tender and pack full of herbs and spices which really compliments the spinach mix.

“I’m overwhelmed with the service”
I saw this post on insta and check their page for more info. They have 5 star “Food Hygiene Rating” so I decided to order this freebie. I’m overwhelmed with the service. I did order today around 4-5pm & expected to come around 5-7 days as other mails but freshly made meal box delivered around 9pm. I was surprised as I didn’t expect this to arrive same day. It’s well passed our dinner time LOL but I’m happy with their service. I’m proper vegetarian so they have quite good veg options and yeh vegan too. There is a pen too with their brand name☺️????. Terrific Teriyaki Tofu Cakes !!???? knew it wouldn’t be long before being blessed with another @wowfoodboxuk meal, this time trying their teriyaki tofu served with broccoli and basmati rice????????♀️ really nailed it with the flavour and texture of the tofu with this one, so will defo be trying to make my own next time but this dinner was a dream and a great alternative to a takeaway for sure???? could have possibly done with a bit more veg but that might be me being weird and loving my greens lol, but can’t complain when this divineee dinner was ready in minutes!!???? once again, absolutely smashed it and great to see a local business to me offering vegan options other than falafel????

“Completely fresh, homemade and local to Rugby”
Saucy Smoky Jollof Rice!!???? had a delicious dinner this evening of oven baked tofu and plantain with vegan jollof rice, kindly sent to me by @wowfoodboxuk ???? packed full of flavour, this was super easy to serve just popping it in the microwave, and was so convenient now life has started to get a little busier????completely fresh, homemade and local to Rugby, this was sooo exciting and they have such good vegan options for dishes that I haven’t attempted myself, so being able to try something new so easily worked out a treat???? not usually one for quick dinners cos I take my sweet time in the kitchen but will defo be trying a few more of their options when they taste this good

Had the 2nd meal from @wowfoodboxuk for my lunch today. Oven baked tofu with smoky jollof rice and fried plantain. It was so good! I am super picky with meat and if I find any gristle it puts me off the rest of the meal, so although I am not vegetarian tofu is a great option for me. The rice and the plantain were both delicious again. I highly recommend trying this one too!

Another lovely dish from @wowfoodboxuk; Teriyaki tofu with crunchy (cooked) broccoli and rice. The tasty blend of garlic and hoisin flavours was perfect with the fried tofu. A light dish with natural ingredients.
